Peter Faint is the director of six short films and five music videos that have played in festivals across North America including Sudbury International Film Festival and Shorts TV, and was nominated Video Director of the Year at the Western Canada Music Awards in 2025.
He has nine years experience as Animation Editor working on shows for Mattel, Adult Swim, and Netflix.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from the University of Guelph. His Honours Thesis focused on postcolonial studies and art as resistance. He has written five feature scripts in various genres including horror, comedy, thriller and mystery. His writing combines surrealism with heightened comedy to tell modern, incisive stories through a genre lens.
